Historical Revenue Across the Top 20 Suppliers

Overall revenue across the top 20 warehouse automation suppliers grew an average 14% YOY between 2016 and 2020, then >24% in 2021 as Amazon and other businesses were accelerating their spend on warehouse equipment and capacity to accommodate the surge in online shopping and direct to consumer distribution.  However, in 2022 most of the larger players saw a drop in revenue, including Dematic, Honeywell, Vanderlande, SSI Schaefer, WITRON, and Beumer.  2022 also saw four new entrants in the top 20 - Fortna (which merged with MHS Global), Element Logic (which acquired SDI Industries), Symbotic (which expanded its partnership with Walmart), and stow Group.
